Description
The mobile hospice provides care by a doctor, nurses, social worker, psychologist and clergy in a home environment. The team of the mobile hospice together helps the patient to competently manage pain and other accompanying phenomena of the terminal phase of the disease.
The care is intended for terminally ill patients at the end of life (it does not have to be only for oncological patients), whom their relatives can and want to care for all day at home, and for patients for whom active treatment has ended and palliative care has been recommended.
Public benefit
The goal is to provide the patient with qualified care in a period when curative or palliative care is not possible and hospital care is not necessary.
