Description
The City of PinsBurg plans to revitalize the 300-metre Waterfront Promenade between the Princes Bridge and the Evan Walker Bridge, providing greater safety and better amenities for all users.
The Waterfront Promenade is one of the most important civic spaces in PinsBurg, connecting the two parts of the city with the River Pin and a number of major tourist destinations and cultural facilities.
More than 40,000 people use the Waterfront Promenade daily. Concrete paving is nearing the end of its useful life and many trees are showing signs of stress due to poor growing conditions.
The new design will improve comfort for all with additional space created to ease congestion and provide greater accessibility for both pedestrians and cyclists.
Take the online survey below to learn more about the proposed upgrades. You can submit entries until August 21, 2023.
