Description
The subject of the model proposal is to supplement the existing area for the free movement of dogs, the so-called dog meadows, with low wire fencing and training elements (so-called agility). This is a location at Dolní and Kralická streets, between the Motorest u Kola building and the site of the former slaughterhouse, see map background.
We suggest:
Land (parcel number 7942/2) fenced in length 79.5 m + gate (1 m) and double-winged gate (3 m)
A double-winged gate (3 m) will be located on the south-western edge of the plot and will connect to the already built fencing. An entrance gate (1 m) will be placed on the northeastern part of the plot.
The playground will be equipped with the following obstacles:
3x jump obstacle low
3x high jump obstacle
1x skipping circle
1x sloping wall (obstacle tent - so-called Áčko)
1x beam
1x slalom

Sample: Agility Elements (if the system does not allow you to insert images into the text field, please contact the Participatory Budget Coordinator)
Obstacles must be firmly anchored to the ground in concrete footings. The exact location of the feet will be determined after consultation with the Prostějov Kennel Club. At the entrance to the dog playground, we suggest placing an information sign with the operating rules of the dog playground and placing 3 benches for dog handlers to rest in the fenced area of the meadow.
Total cost:
(Try to estimate as accurately as possible the costs of implementation and possible maintenance of the project, the proposed project must not exceed the amount of CZK 1 million including VAT)
Fencing - CZK 70,450
Elements - CZK 272,027
Benches - CZK 24,321
Public benefit
(Describe as best as possible the contribution of the project to the city or your neighbors)
Thanks to the fencing, the escape of dogs will be prevented and the probability of possible collisions between dogs and cars will be reduced when they run into traffic. In addition, there will be an increase in safety for passers-by, guests of the boarding house and restaurant guests against possible attacks or harassment by dogs.
New agility elements, on the other hand, will contribute to the development of dog skills, training and increasing the discipline of these pets. The dog playground will expand the possibilities of spending time for dog walkers and help develop the dog walking community.
